"…'A German Celebration of Hungary', 'A Thousand Years of Culture' or, more accurately, 'A German Celebration of Complete and Utter Awkwardness and Oh My God, Ludwig Is About To Cry Please Someone Help'.
Why, YES, I HAVE BEEN OBSESSED WITH HUNGARY SINCE I WAS THIRTEEN, HOW CAN YOU TELL??? I don’t think I gave anything away. :\
Anyway, Ludwig and Erszébet are dressed in the traditional clothes of oh-my-god-how-fuckin’-cute, Roderich has on a traditional Easter getup complete with bucket of water, and Gilbert gets to be the csikós.
Because, really, Gilbert is the only one cool enough to be a csikós. Srsly. And I’m sure that he had absolutely nothing to do with forcing Ludwig down onto his knees.
Ludwig tries his best to be a gentleman, and, meanwhile, Erszébet tries her damn best to be a lady only to realize that she does not know how, and no amount of curtseying will change the fact that she stands like a man.
Forgive me for the laziest coat of arms you’ll ever see in your entire life…”
